Our clinical Pilates Boronia classes use the principles established by Joseph Pilates in New York as a rehabilitation program. It focused on restoring health through better posture, spinal stability and breathing. Joseph’s Pilates classes focused on deep abdominal strength and connecting the mind with the body.
Today, Clinical Pilates is a form of corrective exercise used to rehabilitate and strengthen you as an individual. Reformer Pilates machines are used to activate muscles, tone up and achieve personal goals. Our clinical Pilates Boronia classes use the Pilates principles combined with the knowledge and skill of university qualified practitioners.
With careful consideration to program design, clinical Pilates can reduce chronic pain, improve function and decrease symptoms.
Strong and flexible muscles, mobile and healthy joints on top of a feeling of well being and vitality can be found in our Stay Tuned Pilates Boronia classes.
How will Stay Tuned Clinical Pilates Boronia help?
Every person is unique. Our Pilates Instructors understand this. For this reason each client receives an individual session plan that caters to your needs. The session will strive to reduce pain, increase mobility and improve function.
Our reformer studio has a maximum of 4 people so you get valuable one on one time with your practitioner.
When you start to see the benefits of the clinical Pilates, your instructor will re-assess your program and continue to challenge your body in a way that will have you seeing amazing results. By having an individual program, you work at your own level so every session is effective, safe and targets your personal goals.
Is Clinical Pilates right for me?
You are taken through an assessment by your practitioner. They will then know and understand your needs and concerns. The assessment covers previous injuries, current injuries, health conditions, balance and muscle activation or imbalances. They will discuss your goals and what you would like to achieve.
Whether you are a beginner or a Pilates veteran, our Clinical Pilates Boronia classes are catered to your level. You do not need to have tried Pilates before.
