Osteopathy is a system of complete health care, which uses a wide range of gentle manual techniques to promote health and the pain-free optimal function of your body.
Osteopaths treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems such as back pain and other functional disorders of the body such as asthma. Our Osteopaths focus on more than just treating your symptoms; they will also determine their cause.
Osteopaths can diagnose, treat and refer you to services as required.
How will the Stay Tuned Osteopath Boronia Team help?

- Back and Neck pain
- Headaches and Migraines
- Sporting Injuries
- Digestive Problems
- Muscular Strains
- Work-Related Injuries
- Postural Problems

In conjunction with hands-on treatment, our Boronia Osteos provide advice on desk positioning, posture and can provide home-based exercises to maintain your long term health and wellbeing.
What to expect from your Osteopath?
Clients can receive various treatments from our Osteopaths, including massage, manipulation, dry needling, mobilisation techniques and exercise advice. Each practitioner has treatment techniques they prefer to use, they understand one size does not fit all and will alter their style to match you as an individual.
Your treatment will depend on your conditions and the Osteopath’s recommendation. Of course, if there is a treatment that you are not comfortable with, they will use a different treatment to achieve the same great results!
Are there any referral requirements?
You do not need a referral to see our Osteopaths. To receive a Medicare rebate, you will require a GP referral under a care plan. DVA, Worksafe, and other government-based sessions require a referral from your GP or treating specialist.
How much does an Osteo Consult cost?
Initial osteo consultations at our Boronia Clinic take 45 minutes and begin from $115. Subsequent consultations are 30 minutes and begin from $105. Out of pocket costs will vary depending on the Osteopath and length of your consultation.
Are rebates available for Osteo’s?
Yes, Medicare rebates are available with a GP referral. Some private health funds may fund sessions with an Osteopath. Rebates vary depending on your fund and level of cover.
