by (Osteopath & Exercise Scientist)

Meet our newest team member and Physiotherapist, Sherry Michaels.

Sherry completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2009. Since then she has worked in rehabilitation and has experience in treating a variety of conditions including chronic pain, back and neck pain, post-surgical and neurological conditions. She has also run a falls and balance clinic and hydrotherapy classes. Sherry has done further studies on trunk control and how posture affects movement.

Sherry loves seeing people reach their full potential and regain their quality of life. She will carefully assess and work with you to set goals and write a treatment plan where you are actively involved and learn to apply techniques to everyday situations.

Sherry loves mid- to long-distance running and social netball. She also loves travelling, especially through Africa. Sherry has volunteered as a physiotherapist in Ethiopia, Burkina Faso and Niger.

Sherry is available for consultations in Boronia. Visit our practitioner schedule to see her availability.
