Meet Nita

by (Osteopath & Exercise Scientist)

Recently, through running extra pilates sessions, we raised enough money to adopt another orangutan called Nita. She was sadly kept as a pet until she was 1 and 1/2 years old. She ate cake and tea and did not know how to climb trees.

Initially, she was placed with the youngest orangutans in Nyaru Menteng, so she could learn the basic skills of orangutans. In the last few years she’s moved up into the forest school, along with orangutans her own age. We wish her all the best to one day be released with her friends and family back into the wild where she belongs.

We are so thrilled to be helping these beautiful animals find their way home to their natural habitat. We are able to do so through donating a portion of every consultation to the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation.
