Ray Manalo - Physiotherapist
After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy overseas, Ray opted to further his education by completing the Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology in University of Western Australia in Perth. Strong exposure in Functional assessments and exercise prescription within the general population together with other acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions helped Ray mold the two professions together to become a more effective rehabilitation specialist. Ray is fervent in using exercise not only as a tool for rehabilitation, but also for prehabilitation, injury prevention and recovery. Ray previously worked in an aged-care facility in Mornington where he understood more about pain management program and aged care funding investments. Ray also spearheaded the creation of a gym/exercise class for the better abled residents in the facility. Safe to say Ray has a soft spot for our elderly population. Ray has always been interested in the NBA, however recently has been interested in learning about footy and watching the NBL. Ray works as a Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist and Group Exercise Rehab Instructor at our Elwood Clinic.
