Our Fitness Workshops are designed for Personal Trainers, Exercise Physiologists and Fitness
Instructors.

* All attendants must have a current minimum level
3 certificate in fitness instruction.
Our Workshops have been proven to provide participants with valuable knowledge and skills to:
Develop a greater understanding of dealing with common training issues ( e.g. posture, core strength )
Improve training clients that have specific needs or requirements ( e.g. arthritic, pregnant or elderly clients ).

Paul teaches and conducts workshops in a fun and open atmosphere to maximise learning for all
participants whilst motivating and inspiring them to achieve the best for clients and members. Correct theoretical
knowledge and safety are ensured but all workshops contain a large amount of practical applications as well so
participants can learn by doing and feeling.
We offer 5 Fitness Workshops that assist participants to train clients more effectively.
The Presenter

Paul is regarded as one of Australia’s foremost leaders in Swiss ball training and functional
exercise rehabilitation. He has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 13 years as a Gym Instructor,
Personal Trainer and Coordinator of an Exercise Rehabilitation Program.
In 2001 Paul completed his Masters researching the effectiveness of Swiss ball training on lower back stability.
He also completed his book, Effective Swiss Ball Training, that year which is now sold in several countries
throughout the world.
As the owner and director of Stay Tuned Sports Medicine, Paul still practices at his clinics in Boronia and Elwood, Melbourne
and has several national level athletes amongst his patients.
Paul has lectured throughout Australia for many fitness centres, associations and groups and has worked with
professional athletes both here in Australia and in Niseko, Japan.

Within this busy schedule Paul is also a lecturer in Exercise Rehabilitation, in the Osteopathic
Medicine Department, at RMIT University in Melbourne and has recently completed a national tour for the Australian
Osteopathic Association. Later this year, Paul’s passion for teaching will again take him overseas to lecture in
Italy and England.
Our Fitness Workshops
We offer a variety of Fitness Workshops ( Half and Full Day )
Many clubs and centres choose to mix these workshops to provide a personalized program for their

The Core Strength
This half-day workshop is great for newly registered trainers and instructors or as a brush up on new
research for experienced staff.

Training Pregnant Clients
This half-day workshop is great for experienced and new trainers looking to further their knowledge to
work safely and effectively with pregnant clients.

Advanced Posture Analysis
This half-day workshop is great for all levels of trainers and for gym instructors wanting to know
more about posture including functional dynamic posture.

This full day workshop is designed to teach trainers and instructors how to safely and effectively work
with clients and members who are amongst the many people suffering these common conditions

How diabetes, arthritis and osteoporosis affect the human body and how these affects alter people’s ability to exercise
The main focus of prescribing programs or training people suffering diabetes, arthritis or osteoporosis
Prescribing safe and effective progressions
