A Suitable Alternative for Sugar

If you are trying to reduce your sugar or calorie intake, you may be using artificial sweeteners. Sweeteners have become increasingly popular in recent decades. However, controversy surrounds the use and safety of artificial sweeteners.

Artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame (Equal), Saccharin (Sweet N Low), and Sucralose (Splenda) have been under much heated debate for several years due to their potential negative health impact. Studies have shown that they may have carcinogenic effects (cancer

One of stevia’s incredible properties is that the body does not metabolise the sweet “glycosides” from the stevia leaf, therefore there is NO calorie intake.
